The lakes of Northern Minnesota are legendary for producing huge, hard-fighting trophy muskies, and of those lakes few can match Lake Vermilion and Mille Lacs for great fishing action.  Even after years of fishing some of the most famous muskie lakes in the Midwest and Canada, I'm still amazed by the monsters that my clients, my friends, and I catch every year from the many lakes right around my lifelong home in northern Minnesota.
